Hello! My name is Kara Nations and I'm a filmmaker who was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I discovered the ability to tell stories with photos and videos at 14 when I took my first broadcasting class. Since then, I have constantly found myself coming back to pick up a camera to tell more stories.

My current passion project is my semi-weekly YouTube show Next Level News. A gaming centric news show that offers up easy to understand content that keeps everyone up to date on the latest gaming news.

On the flip side I also work on a more Indepth show called Hardwired. where I take deep dives into the art that goes into game design and how it interacts with the player. This allows me to explore more evergreen content.

Finally I regularly write and self publish short stories that detail LGBTQ+ stories. Stories of coming out, self acceptance, and self discovery. All while exploring taboo topics like sex and intimacy and its role within the LGBTQ+ experience.
